Are parts for a 1999 cougar interchangeable with a 2000 cougar?

i just got a 1999 cougar and it needs some work (obviously) but it was the best car i could fin in my price range. it needs a new fuel filler tube, the shop wants to charge me $350 just for the part. i found a used replacement part for the car, but its for a 2000. will it fit in my 1999?
