What are some good pinata filler ideas?

If you have the time, homemade candy wrapped in wax paper would be great. I am not familiar with what would be available in Ireland's shops, but homemade taffy, fudge or sweet biscuits would be the most unusual. When we did up pinatas for our kids' parties we also put in chocolate coins that are wrapped in foil and also a few real coins...Canadian kids love shiny money!
